TAHMOOR GARDEN CENTRE

Perfectly positioned between Tahmoor and Bargo since 2009, Tahmoor Garden Centre has a large selection of trees, shrubs, potting mix, roses, flowering and veggie seedlings, as well as some native plants. Tahmoor Garden Centre is a one stop shop for all flora needs, with two in house horticulturalists, the team are ready to help you create something beautiful.

Garden ornaments, unique gifts, greeting cards, homewares and artworks are available for purchase in Le Jardin nursery shop; a great selection to brighten up your home indoors and outdoors (or to treat someone special). The gift shop specialises in French style products, as well as local artwork, so you’ll be sure to find something you can’t find anywhere else!

RED LEAF WHOLESALE NURSERY

35 Camden Road, Douglas Park

The newest addition to the Dilly Garden nurseries is Red Leaf Wholesale Nursery, who recently moved from Leppington to Douglas Park in April 2023. Red Leaf is a family business, which has been operating since 2017. It’s renowned for its horticultural expertise and friendly service. 

Choose from a large range of plants including shrubs, trees, citrus/fruit, indoor, succulents, roses, hedges, borders, screens, rockeries, and lots of colour.

Enjoy the tranquil surrounds as you wander around or sit next to Harris Creek that runs to the side of the nursery. On select days a Coffee Van will be on site, so don’t forget to check social media before your visit!

THIRLMERE WHOLESALE NURSERY

240A Thirlmere Way, Thirlmere

Situated on Thirlmere Way, Thirlmere Wholesale Nursery are expert growers of quality trees, shrubs, grasses and ground covers and have been supplying the community for over 10 years.

A wide selection of hedging plants, shrubs, flowers, potted colour and pots are available, as well as potting mixes, mulches and fertilisers, and accessories needed to help your garden flourish. Situated on a beautiful 145-acre farm located at Theresa Park, Downes Wholesale Nursery can hold over 1 million plants to cover all your projects of any size.  Operating since 1984, Downes Wholesale Nursery pride themselves on service and quality.

Downes specialises in large quantity orders, and they have the room to accommodate both specialist growing and advanced orders for your landscaping needs. They have an extensive variety of sun-hardy Australian native plants and exotic trees, shrubs, groundcovers and perennials. Open 6 days a week (closed on Sundays).

BLOOM 

Don’t miss BLOOM, Wollondilly Garden Expo and Plant Fair, on Sunday 5th November at Picton Botanic Gardens 10am – 4pm. It’s the most blooming event for the whole family, with plant stalls, food trucks, farmers markets and a children’s activity area.

Picton Botanic Gardens

Just a short walk from the main hub of the shops in Picton, enjoy a stroll through the six-kilometre flat surface return walking and cycling trail, see the spring colours or find a quiet spot for a picnic in the Picton Botanic Gardens. There is something for everyone to enjoy this spring!
