Thirlmere Festival of Steam

A free to enter family festival heralding the beginning of the Steam Season.

Heritage Train rides to Picton and Buxton, iconic locos from Central, museum displays, Thomas the Tank Engine rides, kids activities and rides, over 120 market stalls offering a wide variety of products, a gala street parade & more.

The festivities begin with bands on stage and market trading at 9.30 am and continue until 4.00 pm.
